DAY OF BASQUE FILMS |

As
usual, the Festival is organising a special day dedicated
to Basque films, during which it will present recent audio-visual
productions made either in the Basque Country or by Basque
directors. Organised by IBAIA (Association of Basque Producers)
and EITB (Basque TV), this year’s Day of Basque Films will
offer a programme including five feature films, ten shorts,
a documentary, two making of ’s and four episodes for ETB’s
new television series.

On
the other hand, two awards will be presented at this Day
of Basque Films: The Ibaia Award for an independent production
to the Ibarretxe Brothers for their film, Sabotaje. Basque
cinema’s Ama Lur Award in recognition of the professional
career of director of photography, Juan Ruiz-Anchia.
