IV INTERNATIONAL FILM SCHOOL MEETING
PRINCIPE CINEMA – 22 AND 23 SEPTEMBER 2005


TV5 AWARD

The International Jury of the IV Edition of Film Schools, consisting of 16 schools and presided over by actress Assumpta Serna, has granted the TV5 Award to the film 2 + 2 = 5 by Jorge Carrascosa (CECC-Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya, Barcelona).
The award carries a cash prize of 2,000 euros for the promotion and dissemination of the winning film and a digital camera for the director of the winning film.

The Jury has also awarded a special mention to the film Les Petits Producteurs de la Sierra, by Sandra Blondel and Pascal Henniquin (Oreleis de Paris – Regards jeunes sur la cité, Paris).
TV5 will provide the directors of the film with a digital camera.

aiTe QUIERO VER! AWARD OF THE SPANISH ASSOCIATION OF TECHNICAL AUDIOVISUAL INDUSTRIES

The purpose of this first-time award, aimed at highlighting the technical aspects of a film, has been granted to the school Orson the Kid /Escuela de Cine para Niños, Madrid.
aiTe will cover the cost of post-production services for El Guardavías through the first standard copy.

CECC-Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya has decided to award a prize to mark the 20th anniversary of its foundation. The award is bestowed to Cache Ta Joie, by Jean-Baptiste de Laubier (la Fémis, Paris).

The prize will consist of a new 35 mm short film project of no more than 15 minutes in duration produced by Grup Cinema Art, S.L., the production company associated with CECC. The project will be filmed in Barcelona and/or the surrounding area with participation by students from the school.
