The recently “opened” Plaza Okendo will once again become a meeting point for all film buffs, bringing them a new point of reference at the Zinemaldia.
Information stands, a shop selling Festival articles, and a giant 30-metre LED screen with a special Festival programme are some of the attractions helping this space to recover the spirit of participation in and enjoyment of the Festival by all citizens.
Giant screen programme:
From 11 o’clock a.m. until 10 o’clock p.m., this screen will show live broadcasts of the news conferences, images of the opening and closing galas, presentation of the Donostia Awards and artists making their way along the red carpet to the Kursaal.
In addition to this, every day, a new programme presented by the journalist Juan Zavala will be broadcast from the Victoria Eugenia Theatre Club where, thanks to a new version of the “Zabaltegi Meetings”, we will be able to take a closer look at the reality of teams from the films participating in this section.
This giant screen will also show recorded broadcasts of the introductions to Zabaltegi-Pearls films programmed at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.

Yet another year, the Festival web will make it possible to follow everything happening at San Sebastian from any part of the world. In this space dedicated to transmitting recorded broadcasts, sansebastianfestivalTV, you will moreover find a great deal of live material (press conferences, galas and special programmes) which can also be consulted in recorded version at any moment, plus a summary of the day with interviews, photocalls and singular events. The content will be presented in easy-to-use galleries for simple consultation and navigation. The offer is rounded off with clips of the films participating in the different sections.
Similarly this year, a screen will broadcast an additional programme 24h a day. Parrilla
