This Horizontes selection will include movies unseen in Spain, either totally
or partially produced in Latin America, directed by filmmakers
of Latin origin or who have taken their inspirations from the
Latin communities of the world. An international jury will decide
on the Horizontes Award with its €30,000.
Made in Spain will once again offer a rigorous selection of the year's most
interesting Spanish productions - famous or hitherto unknown
alike - in close co-ordination with the Festival Sales Office.
Films in Progress will continue offering new opportunities to independent Latin
American movies at the post-production stage, affording
their directors and producers, in close collaboration with the
Rencontres Cinémas d'Amérique Latine de Toulouse,
a place at which to meet professionals and institutions serving
as a decisive stepping-stone on their road to the audience.
