Films in Progress, the twice-yearly rendezvous at the San Sebastian Festival and the Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique Latine in Toulouse, opens the registration period for its coming edition.
Films in Progress 20 will take place in San Sebastian on 20 and 21 September 2011 within the framework of the Festival’s 59th edition.
This initiative by the San Sebastian Festival and the Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique Latine in Toulouse focuses on contributing to the completion of Latin American feature films at the post-production stage.
The awards granted at Films in Progress and the exclusive presentation of these projects to professionals attending the two yearly meetings at San Sebastian and Toulouse have greatly contributed to the completion and circulation of some of the most outstanding Latin American feature films to have made their appearance in recent years.
Films in Progress 20 is open to feature films produced in the different Latin American countries, the filming of which has been completed, but which are having difficulties with the post-production process.
