The San Telmo Museum presents, from August 9th to September 30th, the exhibition “Paseantes de Donostia” (Wanderers in San Sebastian). The exhibit, organised to celebrate the San Sebastian Festival’s 60th anniversary and curated by the photographer Pedro Usabiaga, offers a selection of 80 unseen black and white photographs portraying the event from a different angle, where famous faces blend in with the everyday landscape of a city passionately dedicated to film. A look at sixty years in the history of the San Sebastian Festival.
Famous personalities gather in this exhibition where the backdrop and set are no other than the delightful city of San Sebastian: Alfred Hitchcock, Ava Gardner, Juliette Binoche, Woody Allen, Glenn Close, Bette Davis, Roman Polanski, Quentin Tarantino, Kirk Douglas, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Pedro Almodóvar, Orson Welles and Steven Spielberg, among many others.
The exhibition can be visited in the laboratory area. Admission free.
