Georges and Anne are in their eighties. They are two cultivated retired classical music teachers. Their daughter, also a musician, lives outside France with her family. One day, Anne has an attack. On returning from hospital, one side of her body is paralysed. The love that has bonded the couple for so many years is severely put to the test.
