Filmed version of a theatrical text by Luis Iturri in which mixing photographs of Basque reality on the street and choreography performances on stage denounces the repression of the Basque people.

BIOGRAPHY

MIRENTXU LOYARTE

Mirentxu Loyarte (Pamplona 1938) is the first director of Basque cinema. He studied at the Conservatory of French Cinema and was part of the movement that started Basque film production from the 60s and began with Ama Lur (1968). Committed to cinema as a political and cultural tool, this is her first work.
