Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Pamela Bienzobas (Santiago, Chile. 1976) is a film adviser, programmer and critic. She is a member of Locarno Festival’s feature film selection committee. She has collaborated with industry funds, labs, residencies and events (including Abycine Lanza, CineGouna Platform, Doha Film Institute, Rawi Screenwriters’ Lab, Lab Novos Cinemas, First Cut Lab, Input (S8), Biennale College Cinema, Torino Film Lab, La Fabrique Cinéma de l’Institut français and The Screen – La Incubadora), nominating candidates, assessing and selecting applications, guiding filmmakers at all stages of their projects and advising them on their pitches. She has also collaborated with festivals (mainly Rotterdam, Berlinale Forum and Gijón) moderating discussions and press conferences. She has likewise worked as a freelance writer for numerous newspapers, magazines and books, and was co-founder of the Revista de Cine Mabuse (2012-2016). She was also vice-president of the International Federation of Film Critics, FIPRESCI.
