After Manoli's giving birth and a series of incidents between both couples and the parents of the young people, they finish up being convinced to go and live in , as antonio calls it, "The greatest bourgeois degradation". During one of the visits of Vicente and his wife Manoli to the chalet, the police appears looking for the maid of the "young gentlemen". This gives the occasion for father-in--law and son-in-law to finally get to know each other. And all finishes happily.

André and Marie meet by chance, fall violently in love, and destroy each other.

The other world is independent but shows us what was the life of a hasbeen, an old man who in his time was an artist. To compare one time with another is the intention of the film and definitely its theme. To make the theme mean more, a character played by Alfredo Amestoy explains this world and its reality, he defends its existence and wants to make the audience inderstand.
