Two brothers-in-law, Carlos and Rubén, own a family business. One of them happens to bump into a friend from his military service and they set up a business together. They quickly gain considerable economic power, but this rise brings with it a series of changes in the family. Driven by greed and speculation in the midst of Argentina's inflationary years, they experience a series of tragicomic events.
