This year’s Made in Spain section will be showing 28 titles, for the audience to dive into the best of Spanish cinema. Four full-length and a short film will be world premieres, San Simón by Miguel Ángel Delgado, En silencio by Sara Sálamo, Fragmentos by Horacio Alcalá, Las delicias del jardín by FernanWdo Colomo, and Abril, hoy no es invierno by Mabel Lozano.
The remaining features have already been released in Spain and at festivals such as Cannes or the Berlinale, including Oliver Laxe’s Sirāt, which has just been selected to represent Spain at the Oscars, Carla Simon’s Romería, and Sorda, by Eva Libertad.
This has been a thriving year for Spanish cinema, and so Made in Spain will be showing works as such as La furia, Todo lo que no sé or Molt lluny.
