Women filmmakers facing sexual violence: representation and reparation in La furia (2025)

La furia is one of the films supported by RTVE Corporation, directed by a woman and released in 2025. In this production, the perspective of women filmmakers has been fundamental in numerous areas: directing, screenwriting, production, cinematography and camera, production design, and art direction, among others. Productions like this exemplify the importance of portraying sexual violence and its consequences in cinema through thoughtful perspectives, both ethical and aesthetic, that break away from sexist stereotypes and from rape culture within the audiovisual field.

(Within the "Feminist Analyses of the Current Audiovisual Industry" Conference).
