Synopsis
After WW II, Gennosuke, the Kamizu leader, continues to uphold yakuza chivalry by trafficking in the black market at his legal open-air stall. Taking advantage of the confusion, Iwasa and his gang nab US military goods and control the black market. Iwasa has Gennosuke killed, but, before he dies, he names Shinji as his successor, making him swear not to seek revenge. But despite his efforts, Shinji reaches the point where he can no longer keep his word.
