Synopsis
Working as a street killer in chaotic post-War Hiroshima, Shozo Hirono still believes in the yakuza code. When shooting a rival gangster lands him in prison, he meets Wakasuji, with whom he strikes a pact of brotherhood, but without the required ceremony: instead of drinking sake to close the agreement, they drink their own blood. Wakasuji slits his stomach in the purest seppuku style so that he'll be taken to hospital.
