Macbeth
The cinema we didn’t see in the last decade

Macbeth, the Thane of Glamis, receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders his king and takes the throne for himself.

ORSON WELLES

Orson Welles astonished the world in 1941 with his early debut as a filmmaker, Citizen Kane, considered to be one of the best films in the history of cinema. He later made works including The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), The Lady from Shanghai (1946), Othello (1952), Touch of Evil (1958), The Trial (1962), Chimes at Midnight (1966) and F for Fake (1973). Outstanding in his acting career are, in addition to the appearances in his own films, titles such as The Third Man (1949) and Compulsion (1959).
