Casablanca

Michael Curtiz
USA
Synopsis
Director

The 40s. As a result of the WWII, Casablanca was a city that people from all sides had fled from Nazism: getting there was easy, but getting out was almost impossible, especially the name of the fugitive was on the Gestapo lists , which put pressure on the French authorities under the corrupt inspector Renault. In this case, the objective of the secret police is the Czech leader and hero of the resistance Victor Laszlo, whose only hope is Rick Blaine, owner of 'Rick's Café' and former lover of his wife, Ilsa Lund. Rick and Ilsa had met in Paris, but the entry of German troops in the French capital separated them.
