Synopsis
Director

A story of love and humour, but at the same time a cruel story shown through the mirror of modern day Paris. André Fragman retoruns after military service. He has the title of chemical engineer, but cannot find work. His father is a cinema projectionist, close to retirement, he lives with the memories of the cinema of his youth. Since he was small he has called his son 'Douglas Fairbanks'. Marie came to the capital four years ago to become an 'artist'. She works in a travel agents in the morning, and in the afternoon works with a small theatre company in the outskirts, whose director has chosen her for the leading role in Alice in Wonderland. André and Marie meet by chance, fall violently in love, and destroy each other.
