After practicing an infinity of professions, Jacinto became a traveling projectionist, to take the cinema to town and flee the city. He decorates his truck in the shape of a whale, to attract attention. Manuel, an eleven-year-old orphan, offers to work with Jacinto and a French girl joins his wanderings on roads and villages
