BIOGRAPHY

JERZY SKOLIMOWSKI

He was born in Poland forty years ago and graduated in film direction from the Lodz Film School. His first feature film, Rysopsis, demonstrated an uncommon talent, which some years later would confirm him as one of the most brilliant European directors. After filming in Poland Walkover, Barrier and Hands Up, which earned him great international prestige, he directed Le Depart, The adventures of Gerard, the extraordinary Deep End and King, Queen Knave.
