The action takes place in Madrid during the sadly famous Burgos' trial. Ana is immersed in the work of a Committee for the release of some suspected terrorists, when she suffers a terrible dizziness that makes her fall to the ground. Her mother also works with the Committee, but lives apart from her daughter. After fainting, Ana returns to her mother, who lives with her uncle Andrés.
