András has returned from America and goes to his hometown, but the meeting with his parents does not give him the calm he desires. Buy a dog from the mother of a girl, Zsuzsi, who did not want to get rid of him for anything in the world. Returned to Budapest, can not return to work at the University to have exceeded the official vacation permit at his disposal. Zsuzsi goes by car to Budapest to look for his dog and convinces András to return to town. He does this and the days go by happily. He decides to return to Budapest and the girl marches with him. His old girlfriend, Anna, asks him to return to live together and send the girl to the village. But András is more comfortable with the little girl, who continues her studies and takes care of the house.



Born in Hungary in 1931, she lives in the Soviet Union since she was four years old, a country where her father, a notable sculptor, lives. She studied at the Higher School of Cinematography in Moscow and from 1956 to 1959 she lives in Romania, moving last year to Hungary, where she is definitely established. She made several short films and some documentaries, and in 1968 she shot his first feature film, Eltávozott nap. Its international recognition comes fundamentally from its film Orökbefogadás (Adoption), 1975, which obtains the Grand Prize of the Berlin Festival, and which in the current edition of the San Sebastian Festival is programmed within the cycle Film Made by Women.
