A worker in a mechanised factory sees his attempts to find a quiet job and win the hearts of the women who cross his path fail. Sophie records a tape with Georges' declaration of love and, together with three friends, found a company to commercially exploit the tape. The success is phenomenal, and the stupid, vulgar worker finds himself in an unexpected situation that could transform his life.
