Alba, a mystical student, and Carlos, a pragmatic plumber, find themselves accidentally trapped in the basement of a New York apartment building. They assume that their situation is due to a nuclear war and that they are the only survivors. They decide to overcome the difficulties and not give up, but their passions and selfishness will hinder their plans.
