Synopsis

In the Pacific Northwest there is a legend: Bill Miner. He was a dignified and brave knight, and at the same time one of the greatest bandits of his time. After spending half his life in prison, at the age of sixty he was released. He tried to lead a normal life in Washington State. But an adventurer cannot handle such a great adventure of accepting the everyday. Catching oysters was too easy a job for Bill.

When he entered jail he was holding up stagecoaches. When leaving these no longer exist. Train robberies posed new problems, his first robbery was a failure. But in 1904 Bill Miner together with his accomplice Shorty Dunn committed the first robbery on a train in Canadian history. Persecuted by the law, they escape to Columbia. Their sympathy and people skills lead them to win the affection of their neighbors, the respect of the police sergeant and the love of the fiery Kate. The authority that walks after their steps corners them. But his friend the sergeant is there to help. Miner and Kate made plans to meet in Chicago...
