Synopsis

Insecurity in the country is reaching alarming levels. In a town near the capital, a woman is raped and murdered. The victim is the sister of a priest, so the moved clergy decides to take action on the matter. The bishop goes to the Minister of Justice, and he in turn addresses the Police Director, ordering him to have his best men available for solving the crime. The investigations begin and the police find several dark spots, the house shows no signs of violence and the murderer only went in to attack the victim, the robbery is ruled out and no neighbor heard any noise on the night of the crime. The commissioner considers that the victim and the murderer knew each other.

He investigates among people based on a disease that the victim had and maybe also the murderer, he comes into contact with the victim's boyfriend and with a former lover doctor. Through the interrogations, interesting information is obtained about the dead woman's brother: Father Cuzati, a violent and aggressive man who had a strange relationship with his sister. Little by little the suspicions will cease to be so to become almost realities. The contradictions of the priest in the initial statements lead Commissioner León to consider that the culprit is Cuzati. This will lead to a confrontation between the judicial and the ecclesiastical powers.
