Number Five, the most advanced robot on the planer, designed as a strategic armament system with artificial intelligence, has escaped form the laboratory. Its designer hopes to find it in order to discover what went wrong. The President of Nova Robotics hopes to avoid the deaths of milions of civilians at the hands of the robot. the Chief of Security wants to get it into the open and destroy it so that he can go home for supper. Stephanie, however, finds Number Five, believesit is a human being and intends to convince it of its humanity.
