This film is like a day in the life og three men locked in a triangle of love. Nick, a caustic, nrew wave-ist rock star, has recently discovered that he is dying of AIDS. His best friend and ex-lover, Michael, is a freelanced editor who divides his time between Nick and Robert, Michhael's lover of six years. Robert is leaving for a job assignment in Africa, which, as it turns out, he chose in order to escape this unpleasant situation.
Michael's discovery of the reasons for Robert's departure and Nick's attempts to come to terms with death form the core of the story. But there's also a lot going on peripherally.
