Synopsis
King Richard the Lion Heart has been taken prisoner and his brother John seizes the throne with the help of Sir Guy. Saxon knight Robin de Locksley stays loyal to Richard against John and the Norman noblemen of the court. Together with his faithful followers, he takes over Sherwood Forest and steals from the stagecoaches who venture through, sharing the loot among the poor. One of these stagecoaches is carrying Marian, a young Norman girl who, after her initial hatred, ends up loving Robin. Meanwhile, wicked John and Sir Guy set a trap for Robin in the shape of an archery contest.
