Synopsis
Clever, funny, sick and sometimes simply unwitting, Mark Renton lives on the outskirts of Edinburgh together with his friends: a group of losers, thugs, psychopaths, petty thieves and drug addicts. Begbie is a violent alcoholic; Spud is an incurable heroine addict; Sick Boy is perverted... They are all set on self-destruct; the only one who seems to have any sense at all and the chance to get away from this destiny is Mark. But even he asks himself if he really wants to live normally and if it's worth saying "yes to life"
