Gaby and Carlos decide to spend their holidays in Cuba. Not one to give up easily, Carlos’s mistress, Sylvia, sets off hot on their heels to the island where she spends her time trying to forget her worries by dabbing in a bit of witchcraft. In the meantime, Gaby meets Cacho, a local tourist guide who is her epitome of Caribbean exuberance, colour and heat, and arouses emotions she thought she’d never feel again. Incapable of controlling the situation, Carlos ends up in hospital with a bunch of broken bones and the two women to boot.
