Young Pablo has never met his father. Setting out for the Canary Islands with no more that the required dose of curiosity under his arm, he braces himself for the disappointment he'll probably feel when he finds out his dad is not the person he thought he'd be. For his part, Rafael, Pablo's father, treats the unexpected visit like a discovery and the start of a relationship he has preferred to have nothing to do with 'til now.
