Solveig Hoogesteijn
Paula, a Spanish doctor, works for Amnesty International. Soledad, a famous religious healer, is in prison accused by her sister of killing her brother-in-law and a girl by witchcraft. Although she is completely convinced that the whole thing is nothing but superstition, Paula decides to find out more on the subject and ends up risking her career as she violates the rules of her profession to discover the dark side of a country and it's underlying primitive beliefs.
