Marta, a professional stockbroker, has to travel to Colombia when her journalist brother Juan is murdered. But things don't go quite as planned when, instead of simply collecting his brother's ashes, she gets caught up in the violent reality of everyday Colombia and is thrown head first into a complicated intrigue with all sorts of adventures leading from order to chaos. She eventually comes to the conclusion that when everything is dark and life isn't worth a button, it is impossible to tell between victim and executioner, right and wrong, and to know where the truth starts and ends.
