A millionaire nicknamed Mop faced with the dilemma of how to spend his money, meets Kitty, a drunk music-hall actress in search of a bit of good fortune. Brooke is a young heiress gone broke who puts herself in the hands of an Italian whom she believes to be very rich, but who is in fact a professional gambler in exactly the same financial situation as herself. At this point their paths begin to cross in the best of comic traditions.
