Richard is called to jury and finds himself at the trial against molly (the girl he had a crush on at school) fot eh attempted murder of a postman. In fact Molly is involved in a complicated blackmailing setup and accidentally injured the postman during an argument he had nothing to do with. Richard puts all his energy into finding evidence to save the young girl.
