Best friends Sonny and Duane are both at that difficult time between adolescence and adulthood. They live in the small Texan town of anarene, one of the many places destined to disappear from the map as its inhabitants gradually move to the big city. The day the old filmhouse finally closes its doors seems to bring the curtain down on part of their lives.
