This is a provocative and deeply moving chronicle of the life and work of Bob Flanagan, an internationally acclaimed performance artist and writer born with the painful disease Cystic Fibrosis who explored the limits of illness, pain, sexuality, love and death through extremely graphic sadomasochistic presentations, before dying in January1996.
