Synopsis
For her first film as a director, the prestigious scriptwriter Agnes Jaoui, who frequently collaborates with Alain Resnais among others, has chosen a bitter-sweet comedy featuring a wealthy industrialist, who is good-natured but a bit of a yokel. This film, one of the biggest box-office hits of the year in France, aims to show that other people's tastes are not always contemptible, however outlandish they may seem.
