Synopsis
Neil LaButte, a well-known figure at the festival, turns his caustic cruel gaze towards the world of television soap operas and the influence they have on the petty mediocre lives of the most run-of-the mill people. Intelligent, entertaining and ironic, it has its best trump cards in Renée Zellweger, who is perfect as Nurse Betty, and in Morgan Freeman, impeccable as Charlie the killer.
