Synopsis
Dot is a model used to turning men's heads. Meeting a man called Eddie who dreams of opening a shop, the couple marries and Dot falls pregnant, creating a number of misunderstandings caused by the fact that both believe the other doesn't want children. Dot, whose mother died in labour, suffers from an obssessive fear of giving birth, and Eddie, wanting her to be attended by the best gynaecologist in New York, does what he can to pay the astronomical fees.
