Synopsis
A poor, uncouth peasant woman, Mary meets Martin Wrenn, a power line installer, and his employee Tim Osborne. Both go to the war, but Tim comes back in a wheelchair. Mary increases her visits to his house and Tim, eventually convincing the girl to wash and take care of him, succeeds in turning her into a real lady. But it's the medal-bearing Sergeant Wrenn who tries to take advantage of the change.
