Nugget Jim's Pardner/The Calibre of Man / NUGGET JIM'S PARDNER/THE CALIBRE OF MAN

Frank Borzage
     26 m.
Hal, a rich businessman's disowned son heading West, jumps from the train in Silvertown, where the drunken boor of a miner Nugget Jim allows his daughter Madge to work in a lousy dump. Hal rescues Madge and obliges Jim to start working, succeeding with time in knocking the whole thing into family shape. Just when things are starting to go right, he gets a letter from his father saying that all is forgiven and asking him to go home.
