Synopsis
Synopsis
While a New York journalist is reporting on the tulip festival in a hamlet inhabited by Dutch descendents, he stays in a hotel run by the amusing Van Maaster and his seven pretty daughters, all of whom, except the eldest, have men's names and wear men's clothes as a result of the fact that their parents would really have preferred to have sons. The journalist falls for the second eldest daughter, Billie, but family tradition dictates that none of the others can get married before the eldest daughter has tied the knot.
