Synopsis
A prisoner on a remote tropical island, Verne is sent to work at the quais where he meets Julie, a prostitute from Marseilles with whom he manages to arrange secret meetings thanks to the help of a mysterious stranger, Cambreau, who takes his place on the chain gang. Hearing of a planned escape, both Verne and Cambreau sign up. Verne collects Julie on his way to freedom, but an unfortunate drop in the wind drops leaves the fugitives at the mercy of the scorching sun.
