Synopsis
The site foreman of a hydroelectric power plant in the Rockies, Marsdon is arrested for having killed an engineer who was lusting after his mistress, the mysterious Rosalee, to whom he gives his raven with the intention of ensuring her faithfulness. A new person arrives on the scene in the shape of Allen John, whose plans of heading for the city are spoiled when he misses the only train going in that direction until the following spring. As winter deepens, passion grows between Allen John and Rosalee before the raven's watchful eye.
