Synopsis
When Dutch Captain Van Horn's ship runs aground just off the coast of Cartagena de Indias, Spanish viceroy Don Alvarado issues orders that the survivors be thrown into jail. Van Horn escapes, becoming a pirate nicknamed ?Barracuda? and kidnapping Francesca, daughter of the Mexican viceroy and fiancée of Don Alvarado. Fear of retaliation leads the ?Pirates' Council? to return the girl, but she is already smitten by the pirate, who unhesitatingly dashes to her rescue.
