Synopsis
Galloping over the Canadian prairies towards his homestead, Kirby has a run-in with a group of men and ends up killing one of them. Pursued by Selwyn, a young Mounty policeman, Kirby finally makes it home only to discover that his wife has died while giving birth to their child. Escaping from Selwyn with the Indians' help, he promises to return on the same day every year to see his son ?until they get me?.
