Any day in a pretty country town. The approaching spring is already showing signs of arrival in the nearby mountains. Two men are walking to work. One is the Socialist Deputy Fernando Buesa; the other is his bodyguard, Jorge Díez Elorza. A bomb puts an end to their lives as they make their way through a park with hundred-year-old trees. Why? Who? What for? Asesinato en febrero is about the lives of these two absent people who gradually take on a new existence through the memories of their wives, their friends and relatives, the exceptional witnesses of these lives brutally cut short.
