Director
A peasant couple are thrown off their land and brutally obliged to get by as they can in the streets of a strange, enormous and heartless city. The country's conflict condemns protagonists Toño and Paulina to exile, but that's not the only drama tormenting the twosome. Suffering, disillusion and amorous let-down grow inside them.
